English IV: Post 7 - Changes to my study programme

Given the pandemic context, there are several things that I did not like about the geography study program, starting with the amount of work that has to be handed in and the fact that they are all in groups, although it is easier to review this way, I do not consider it a good way to evaluate since the collective work is evaluated and not the individual work, although they are application work, which is very good, I consider that from time to time individual work is much more profitable.

On the other hand, I consider that the hours that one is in front of a computer is very tiring, especially since the schedule is designed to have the course in a single day, so being three to four hours, with only ten minutes of rest is very tiring, especially when some teachers do not respect that time.

What I do consider that has been beneficial is the program that we geography students use (ArcGIS) because it is much more personalized learning, the teacher takes the time for every doubt, both at the level of online classes and in the classroom in this specific branch, so learning the geo processes and commands is much easier.

Finally, given the pandemic, as a second year student I have not had the opportunity to know all the infrastructure of the faculty, so I think the university could have given more opportunities to visit it, however with the face-to-face branch that I have this semester it has been easier for me to know some places of the faculty and also mention that I have had land with my course so applying the theoretical knowledge has been much more entertaining.
